This morning, I stood quietly beside a wild black raspberry bush just beginning to fruit. Tiny, firm berries, deep in color but not quite ready. Still tart, still forming. Not yet their sweetest selves.
And I saw us in them.
We are not meant to ripen all at once. We are meant to grow in cycles reaching, stretching, sometimes even resting until the moment we’re fully ready to bloom into our power.
The black raspberry doesn’t compare its progress to the berry beside it. It simply follows the rhythm of its becoming.
And so should we.
Your Growth Is Not Random…It’s Rhythmic
You may be in a season right now where the fruit of your efforts hasn’t fully ripened. You’re putting in the work, doing the healing, making the shifts but the results aren’t quite there yet.
Don’t pick the berry before it’s ready. Don’t dismiss your stage of “almost.” The becoming is sacred.
Growth takes time.
Strength takes root.
And maturity? That’s what transforms potential into purpose.
Power Moves This Week:
Honor your process: Resist the urge to rush. Trust your own timeline.
Nurture yourself: Protect your energy. Say no with grace. Make space to grow.
Celebrate signs of change: Even the smallest new berry is proof: something beautiful is happening.
Nature never questions its unfolding, and neither should you.
You’re not behind.
You’re not lost.
You’re in process…and that’s where power is born.
Keep reaching toward the light, and soon, your season of sweetness will come. Be resilient
With belief in your resilience,
Tom
